ALPA HAS YOU COVERED

In the state of Texas, it is required by law to have auto insurance coverage on your motorcycle. After all, it is a vehicle! Motorcycle insurance covers liability similar to an auto insurance policy, with the addition of insuring damage to others while riding as a passenger on your motorcycle. Most importantly, you can add coverage such as medical payments, comprehensive, collision, and even roadside assistance so you are fully covered while riding your bike.

Types of Motorcycle Insurance Coverage We Offer

Covers injuries or damages to the other driver and their property. This does not cover injuries or damages to you or your property. The minimum required coverage for liability insurance is $30,000 per person for Bodily Injury, $60,000 per accident, and $25,000 for Property Damage. This is the lowest amount of coverage you can have for motorcycle insurance in the state of Texas.

Together these offer full protection when your motorcycle is damaged. Comprehensive insurance covers your motorcycle from damages caused by fire, theft, vandalism, or hail. Collision insurance also covers damages to your car caused by a collision with another motorcycle, car, or an object.

Covers certain medical expenses and loss of wages incurred as a result of an accident. PIP covers you and your passengers on the motorcycle, minus standard deductible payments, before a payout is given.

Covers you from damages resulting from a driver who caused an accident and does not have any, or enough, insurance to cover the incurred damages.

Covers medical costs which include medical bills, dental care, and/or funeral expenses as a result of an accident. This coverage pays regardless of who is at fault for causing the accident.

If you are in an accident and need a rental car while your motorcycle is being repaired, this covers the cost of the rental.

This can be added to your policy to use in case your motorcycle breaks down or you get stranded on the side of the road.

Covers equipment, devices, enhancements, and other changes made to the motorcycle besides what the original manufacturer installed that can alter the appearance or performance of the motorcycle.
